White Horse Laboratories: Pioneer of electronic quality assurance

White Horse Laboratories was founded in the early 2000s at a time when counterfeit and substandard electronic components were rapidly proliferating in the global marketplace. Even then, our clearly defined mission was to protect buyers and manufacturers from unsafe products through extensive testing and conscientious educational work.

Our founder, Mark Rinehart, chose to name the company "White Horse Laboratories" in reference to the noble image of the white horse in many cultures. With the same unwavering integrity and willpower, White Horse Laboratories defies its challenges and is committed to quality and safety in the electronics industry.

The beginnings: White Horse Laboratories takes shape (2004)

White Horse Laboratories was founded in Hong Kong in 2004. In 2006, we opened our offices in Shenzhen, China. From the beginning, we have placed great emphasis on building a very high level of technical equipment and expertise at all locations.

First milestones and international recognition (2009-2010)

2009 was a significant year for White Horse Laboratories: we received ISO 9001 and ANSI/ESD S20.20 certifications and became members of the IDEA-STD-1010B and AS6171 committees. The team around Mark Rinehart did real pioneering work and was actively involved in the development of some of these standards. In 2010, Plexus confirmed our expertise in counterfeit product detection.

Partnerships and growth (2012-2018)

The years that followed were characterized by the establishment of significant partnerships and stable growth. We have built strong relationships with major companies such as Thales, Jabil and Flex, and have continuously expanded our services around the original business of testing. Our Hong Kong office became a major 3PL service provider specifically for the electronics industry. In Europe, more precisely in Germany, we started our first sales activities.

Current developments and global expansion (2019-2023)

More recently, our focus has been on expanding our global presence. Our laboratories in Shenzhen and Cleveland received DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation, and our newest testing laboratory in Puchheim near Munich is also being built to these high standards.

White Horse Laboratories is now an internationally recognized player with state-of-the-art facilities at the heart of the global electronic parts and components market. Our international team of experienced engineers and electronics experts uses sophisticated testing and analysis methods and equipment to provide valuable support to our customers in securing their products.

At White Horse Laboratories, our goal is to truly make a difference in the electronics industry. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with high quality testing services, delivering clear test results quickly and easily, and supporting them with our expertise. It is always about continuously getting better and ensuring quality at the highest level. We want to help our customers make their products safe and identify weak points quickly.that is our promise and our passion.
